My nature photos are rooted in stillness.

It often begins in the spring — when buds appear quietly and exist for only the briefest moment before opening. That short window has always felt sacred to me.

I’m drawn to the hush after a rainstorm, and especially to peony season, when everything feels full and fleeting all at once.

Macro photography is where my heart settles. Getting close enough to see the details most people pass by — the curve of a petal, the weight of a raindrop — feels like a quiet tribute to the beauty that so easily goes unnoticed.

Nature photography matters because it teaches us to notice.

Some families meet me here year after year, watching their children grow taller in the same golden field.
